Snake & Skyline began out of the share passion for brewing between two friends and their determination to experiment and innovate. The name comes from the location of their original home brewery in Oakland on the cross streets Snake and Skyline, which they dug out and built themselves under the crawlspace of the house.

Inspired by their self-made ethos and scenery of the Oakland Hills, the branding reflect both the local landscape and the underground origins of their brewing.
